Edy Ferguson lives and works in London. She completed her MFA in Painting and Combined Media at Hunter College, City University of New York, and her BFA at Washington University in St. Louis, where she received the Fred Conway Art Award. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions including the Benaki Museum, Athens; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva; Bernier/Eliades, Athens; Faggionato Fine Arts, London; Art/Geneve, Switzerland; the 2nd Biennale in Mardin, Turkey; and MoMA PS1, New York. Her work is held in collections including the George Economou Collection, Athens, and the Barbier-Mueller Collection, Geneva.

Ferguson received an MTV Music Award for her work on Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” music video and has taught Contemporary Painting, Sound and Public Art at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts since 2019. Her work has been featured most recently in The Wick, as well as The Art Newspaper, The Telegraph, Le Monde, Artforum, Elephant, KunstForum International, Kunst-Bulletin, and Le Temps.
