International Public Arts Workshop

Xi'an Academy of Fine Art, China

Based on the ancient Chinese theory of Taoism and the Five Elements, I created five studies for large scale sculptures as a proposal for public artworks on location at the Tomb of Emporer Jingdi, Yangling Mausoleum. From the Han Dynasty, the Mausoleum was built between 153 BC and 126 BC. The Tomb is located just outside Xi'an, China.  For the Academy, I lectured and guided students in creating proposals of their own for the Mausoleum.
